Bellatrix
AvailableBellatrix is a 2-year-old female Domestic Short Hair from Scranton, PA. This medium-sized tabby has been spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. She's not housetrained but is eager to adapt to a loving home environment.
About Bellatrix
Meet Bellatrix! Her name means "warrioress," which fits her story perfectly. Found on the roadside, Bellatrix faced unimaginable challenges after being shot and left unable to use her back legs. Thankfully, she missed spinal injury, but the trauma has left her paralyzed. Yet, she’s a fighter. With veterinary support, she’s regained some movement and is thriving. Bellatrix now requires a specific care routine, including the need for her bladder to be expressed a few times daily. Her daily life is uncomplicated once you get the hang of it—she’s lower maintenance than many may think, requiring no early morning walks or outdoor potty breaks. In fact, her joyful spirit shines; she loves to explore, lounge, and cuddle, proving that her disability doesn’t define her. With the sweetest demeanor and a loving nature, she captivates everyone she meets. Her excitement, especially at mealtime, is expressed in the cutest silent meows. Her eyes, reminiscent of Puss in Boots, hold a spark of happiness rather than sadness. Bellatrix is looking for a special someone who can see past her challenges and appreciate the love she has to offer. If you’re ready to provide a loving home, Bellatrix is eager to bring warmth and joy into your life.
