About Chicago
Meet Chicago! At just three months old, this little guy is already neutered and staying in a loving foster home. Though he's possibly a Labrador Retriever and Border Collie mix, we can't confirm his exact breed. When Chicago first arrived, he was understandably frightened of humans, flinching at touches. But with the right care, he has blossomed into a sweet pup with striking blue eyes, eager to play and enjoy squeaky toys. His foster has worked hard to help him overcome food insecurity, noting he needs to eat separately from other animals during mealtime. Chicago has shown promise around both dogs and cats, and he would thrive in a home with another friendly dog who can guide him. Patience is key as he builds trust with his humans, but once he feels secure, he offers so much love. This charming boy is looking for an adopter who has experience with under-socialized dogs, especially since he will need a warm, welcoming environment to continue his progress. Chicago is available for a "foster-to-adopt" setup, allowing his new family two weeks to ensure a successful adjustment. Adopters with children should note that kids should be around 10 years or older. Chicago is ready to find his forever home where he can shine. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
