About Rushmore
Rushmore, or Rush for short, is a young tabby cat learning to embrace his inner bravery. Originally part of a TNR effort, he showed signs that he craved indoor living. While Rush is still quite fearful of humans, he thrives in a calm and patient home where he can build trust at his own pace. When he feels particularly brave, he leans in for sweet headbutts and loves chin scratches. This playful and energetic feline launches himself through the air after wand toys, and his food motivation keeps him engaged. Rush enjoys the company of other cats, making him a great fit for a home with a confident feline buddy. Since he can become overstimulated and may swipe when he needs space, an adult-only home suited to understanding shy cats is ideal for helping him flourish. Rush is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Give him the love and understanding he needs, and you'll see him blossom into a wonderful companion. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
