About Amiga
Mama Amiga is ready to find her forever family. At about 2 years old, weighing 33 pounds, she makes a lovely medium-sized companion. Toys are her absolute favorite; she's become quite the little thief, sneaking into the puppy play yard to snag them and scurry off. Incredibly sweet, Amiga has a gentle, loving personality. She enjoys outdoor time, listens well, and walks nicely on a leash. While she’s not housetrained yet, she seems to appreciate a kennel and will often use it for some peace away from the rambunctious puppies she raised. Amiga can zoom around the yard when the mood strikes, but she’s equally content relaxing by your side. Though a little reserved initially, she warms up quickly and is friendly with others. She does well with other dogs, too. Just a couple of notes: she’s a jumper when excited, so older kids would be best, and her interest in birds and small critters means she may need supervision around them. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing dog with a nice playful spirit, Mama Amiga could be the perfect fit. Amiga will be spayed before adoption and is current on vaccines and prevention. Her adoption fee is $300. To meet her, please submit an application to K9 Kindness Rescue, Inc. Remember, we're not a shelter, so a scheduled meet and greet is required. Adopters must be within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All resident pets must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed or neutered for adoption approval. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
