About Rusty
Rusty is an energetic and playful boy who thrives in an active household, especially one with kids. His affectionate nature shines through, as he loves to sit by his foster mom with his paws on her lap during TV time. Rusty often behaves more like a dog than a cat, making him a unique companion. As a special needs kitty, Rusty has faced several health challenges. Originally starting at Heartland as a sickly kitten in August 2023, he was nursed back to health, but he later encountered FIP, which his family couldn't afford to treat. He's now cured, but he also dealt with Stomatitis and Pododermatitis, which have both been successfully managed. Rusty experiences chronic gingivitis and will require regular dental checkups to maintain his health. While he has some conditions needing monitoring, his playful spirit and loving demeanor make him a one-of-a-kind feline. Rusty has recovered well, and with proper care, he can enjoy a long, healthy life. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FELV. This sweet boy is ready for a forever home where he can thrive and spread joy. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
