About Kyrie

Kyrie is a calm and loyal six-year-old German Shepherd weighing 75 pounds, eagerly seeking a loving guardian. He absolutely adores being around people, often waking up with his face resting on his foster mom's pillow. Housebroken and well-mannered, he doesn’t require a crate. Out on walks, Kyrie is generally good on a leash, though he can be reactive around other dogs. While he is welcoming to guests in his home, he tends to be protective of his foster mom during walks, displaying his loyal nature. He thrives as the only pet in a home, especially one with a fenced yard, where he can bask in the sun as a yard dog. Given his limited socialization, he may need some extra time to adjust to new experiences outside. Though he doesn’t know specific commands, he’s intuitive and takes treats gently from your fingers. Kyrie is healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. He’s also heartworm-tested, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300, benefiting the rescues of Famous Fidos. If you’d like to meet this deserving boy, please fill out an adoption application and follow up via email to set up a visit. Kyrie is currently in foster care in Chicago.
