About Bones
Meet Bones! Some dogs just need someone willing to see the world a little differently, and Bones fits that description perfectly. Just over a year old and about 80 pounds, he’s a beautiful Great Pyrenees and Heeler mix with a big heart and a joyous spirit. Neutered and fully vaccinated, Bones is ready to find his forever family. Though Bones is deaf, this only enhances his incredible intelligence. He’s learning hand signals quickly and already knows how to respond to commands like "come" and "sit." He thrives on interaction and wakes up each day ready for adventure. Raised by an experienced rescuer, Bones has happily shared space with multiple dogs without any history of aggression. However, because he tends to play exuberantly, he might be too much for very small or fragile dogs. Bones has spent much of his life outdoors but is adaptable to indoor living with supervision. He enjoys being among family and needs a home where everyone is kept safe. Unfortunately, he cannot be placed with cats or small animals due to past incidents that arose from his inability to hear warning signals. This decision to rehome Bones came from deep love and care. He’s not a problem dog; he’s a special one who deserves a family that appreciates his unique qualities and all the joy he offers. If you have a soft spot for dogs who are a little different and incredibly deserving, Bones might just be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
