Meet Johnny Local Cutie, a lovable 5-year-old Wirehaired Vizsla/Hound mix weighing in at 100 pounds. This big-hearted boy was left behind by his previous owners after they moved away. Despite that, he's ready to embrace a new family who will adore him just as much. Johnny has a sweet disposition, gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys being part of an active household. He’s always game for hikes or walks and has a knack for scent work—he could easily become a secret agent in another life! Keep his mind engaged with activities and puzzles, as he thrives on stimulation. Chewing is part of his charm, and he's fond of bully sticks and frozen Kongs. When he’s not playing agent, you can find him cuddled up watching his favorite movie, Ratatouille, dreaming of culinary adventures. While he doesn’t mind kids, his size could be a bit much for little ones under seven. Cats and other small animals aren’t a good match due to his high prey drive. Johnny loves swimming and car rides, walks well on a leash with a little excitement, and is both house-trained and crated at night. A home with a large yard would be ideal for him to roam and play. A note on his medical background: Johnny did have an incident resulting in some loss of his tail, and after a reaction to a medication, he's currently on meds for seizures.
