About Summit
Summit and his siblings were discovered under an abandoned house at just 5-6 weeks old. Now, at 7 weeks, Summit is thriving in his foster home! Living true to his name, Summit is ready for every adventure life brings. This affectionate and curious Lab mix is always eager to explore, whether he's zooming through the yard or closely following his foster family. Even at this young age, Summit shows off his intelligence and courage. He's making great strides in potty training and learning from his big foster sister about the joy of being a dog. Nothing seems to faze this confident little guy. With a wagging tail and an open heart, he approaches life head-on. Every day is a new opportunity for him to learn and grow into a fantastic companion. If you’re in the DC/MD/NoVa area and want a puppy to join you on hikes and snuggle on the couch, Summit is your match. He’s ready to climb into your heart and become your lifelong friend. Interested adopters should be home for most of the day to care for him, as he is still a baby. Additionally, signing a spay/neuter contract with a fee at the time of adoption will be required, along with planning for his procedures at six months of age. Summit is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. To begin the adoption process, please fill out an application on our website. Every animal deserves a happy ending.
