About Chita Rivera
Chita Rivera, named after the iconic Broadway star, brings her own touch of grace and charm. Rescued from a flooded mobile home in mid-April, Chita faced a tough start in life. Born in spring 2018, she arrived at Crash's Landing in desperate need of care due to severe pododermatitis, which left her paw pads swollen and blistered. After surgery to alleviate her discomfort, she thrived and is now a vibrant companion who moves confidently. Chita has a wonderful personality. She is affectionate and gets along well with other cats, making her a fitting addition to a home with a feline friend or two. Her delightful demeanor and knack for making herself at home around people show just how far she's come. Our shelter manager remarks on her kind nature and how she appreciates being safe and cared for at the rescue. Chita is looking for her forever home, ideally with someone who is home often, as she loves companionship. After overcoming her past struggles, this sweet girl is ready to share her love with the right family. Could you be the one to give Chita Rivera her next big role in life?
