About Dorothy

Dorothy is one of three Chiweenie sisters—along with Rose and Blanche—looking for a new home after being abandoned. Estimated to be about 1 year old, Dorothy and her siblings were rescued by a kind individual who cared for them until space opened up at the shelter. As with many Chiweenies, Dorothy can be a bit shy with new people and situations, often expressing her feelings vocally. At first, they may seem hesitant, still adapting to shelter life, but once comfortable, they welcome gentle affection. All three sisters possess unique personalities, united by their shared desire for a patient home where they can feel safe and loved. With some time and routine, it'll be easier for them to relax and enjoy life. Dorothy's sister Blanche has a cherry eye that will be evaluated by a veterinarian soon; however, it's a minor concern that doesn’t affect her charm or readiness for adoption. They're hoping to find a loving family that understands their sensitive nature. If you’re ready to give Dorothy the chance she deserves, consider welcoming her into your heart and home.
