About Nori

Nori, whose name means "Light" in Hebrew, has faced quite a journey. Rescued from a tough situation in the Rio Grande Valley, where she was chained to a truck and attacked by other dogs, she’s now blossoming in her foster home. At about 1.5 years old and weighing around 23 lbs, Nori resembles a Mini English Coonhound, but her charm is all her own. This sweet, petite dog has a gentle disposition, a happy demeanor, and is wonderful with both dogs and children. She knows basic commands like sit and lie down, and she’s potty trained. Nori enjoys zoomies and would thrive with a playmate. Though she can be shy, she warms up quickly to new people. With her calm nature and love for car rides, Nori is a well-behaved companion seeking a forever home. She is light heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment, but that doesn't dull her spirit. The ideal match for Nori is someone who will be home more often than not, as she craves a loving connection. Older children fit best in her adoptive family since she hasn't interacted with toddlers. She’s ready to find her forever human to cuddle and share her love with. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
