About Kodiak

Meet Kodiak, a striking young male cat with short-haired black and white fur and some distinctive markings on his back and face. In his loving foster home, Kodiak has truly come into his own. He enjoys pets, toys, and treats, and gets along well with other animals, including both cats and dogs. Although he is still a bit timid around unexpected movements and loud noises, he loves to engage in playful wrestling with the resident small terrier mix dog. Kodiak is adjusting to human interaction, especially with elementary-aged kids, but he values his independence and is not quite ready for cuddles just yet. That said, with a little patience and kindness, he’s likely to open up even more. This adaptable and courageous cat would thrive in a home with a playful young cat or could be adopted with one of his littermates. He has a sweet and loving nature, and he’s excited to meet his forever family! Kodiak has already been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Even better, his adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Kodiak while he’s in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration. A volunteer will be in touch within a few days regarding a possible meet and greet. Ready to add some joy to your life? Apply today!
