About Pistachio

Meet Pistachio, a unique cat on a special journey, now available for adoption. When he first arrived at Boston's Forgotten Felines nearly a year ago, Pistachio seemed reserved and feral, preferring the safety of his cage. Initially, he would only allow gentle head pets through the bars, reluctant to step outside even when given the chance. After some time and with the help of our veterinary team, plus a bit of medication to help ease his anxiety, Pistachio has experienced remarkable progress. Today, he enjoys being petted and brushed and will even meow to signal when he's hungry. While he loves the company of calm, respectful people and fellow cats, he's still sensitive to sudden movements. Pistachio is thriving, having learned that he can trust again. He's a handsome brown and chocolate tabby with a bit of extra weight to lose, but this just adds to his charm. Pistachio thrives on playtime with interactive toys and has formed a bond with foster kittens who help him learn the ropes of feline fun. He will do best in a serene environment, with an adopter who understands his needs and will celebrate his small victories as he continues to gain confidence. Could you be that special person to help him flourish? Contact Boston's Forgotten Felines to learn more about welcoming Pistachio into your life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
