About Rosie
Rosie came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, where she was neglected and unsure of her surroundings. Thankfully, an amazing foster family stepped up for her, and for the last five months, Rosie has slowly learned what love and safety feel like. She’s now back at the shelter, ready for a forever home. With medicated baths, supplements, and a lot of care, her skin has healed beautifully, and even more importantly, her spirit has brightened. Now Rosie is just a big baby, a total couch potato who thrives on snuggles, belly rubs, and a cozy spot beside her humans. At 6 and a half years old, Rosie weighs around 44 lbs and is spayed and potty trained. She’s great with kids and fine with little dogs and cats, though she can be selective with larger dogs. Despite having an old, healed wound that sometimes makes one of her back legs a bit difficult, it doesn’t stop her from soaking up affection and loving life. Rosie deserves a family that will cherish her and show her that her past is truly behind her. This affectionate girl is current on her vaccinations, licensed, and microchipped. If you have space in your heart and home for her, come meet Rosie—they are waiting with paws crossed!
