About Ginger
Meet Ginger! This wonderful Dutch Smoushond is looking for a loving forever family. Although she’s labeled a senior, Ginger hasn’t gotten the memo – she’s full of curiosity and a playful spirit. Weighing in at 20 lbs, this sweet, friendly pup has a lot of love to give. She found her way to Albert's Dog Lounge after her owner passed away, and now she’s eager to find her new companion. Ginger has a gentle personality. She enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with them, though she hasn’t been tested with cats due to her breed’s prey drive. Given her deafness, she prefers a calm home without small kids and may be the happiest as the only pet in the household, receiving plenty of attention and engagement from her new family. This pup has great in-home manners, successfully communicating her needs by barking at the door when she wants to go outside. She maintains a moderate activity level, enjoying walks and yard explorations. She's a quiet snoozer, is housebroken, and adapts well to new environments. Ginger is in good health and has received vaccinations and dental care to ensure her well-being. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, where she can frolic safely or, at the very least, enjoy regular walks. Want to bring Ginger home? Click apply to start the adoption process.
