Dora
AvailableDora is a white and cream, short-coated mixed breed puppy—a blend of Pit Bull Terrier and Rat Terrier—currently living in Wyandotte, MI. She is a baby female, about 2 months old, and will likely grow to be a medium-sized dog. Dora is not yet house trained or spayed, but she is up to date on vaccinations. She has a friendly, social temperament and thrives in environments where other dogs and cats are welcome.
About Dora
Dora is a lively, outgoing puppy ready to fill her next home with adventure and laughter. Brave and endlessly curious, she thrives on exploring new spots and forming instant connections—other dogs quickly become friends, and she’s equally open to meeting cats. Dora is a social butterfly, sharing her affection with everyone while still enjoying bursts of independent play and self-discovery. She loves a good cuddle but finds plenty to do on her own if you’re busy. Just over 9 weeks old and weighing about 10 pounds, Dora’s expected to reach medium size as she matures. Born March 27th (making her an Aries—no wonder she rushes head-first into new things), Dora is developing puppy manners but isn’t yet house trained. She’ll need patience, steady guidance, and plenty of time—not a good fit for apartments or condos and shouldn’t be left alone for more than four hours straight. Her new home requires a securely fenced yard to keep her safe during all that puppy energy. Due to her enthusiasm and sharp puppy teeth, she’s better suited for families without small kids until she outgrows her nippy stage. Dora’s vaccinations are current, and she’s on preventive care and microchipped. She comes from a loving foster background and would make a fantastic companion for an active family ready to invest in a young dog’s growth and fun. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Dora
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Dora, as a mixed Pit Bull Terrier and Rat Terrier, does best in a home with space to explore and play. Her active nature means a house with a securely fenced yard is ideal.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dora will benefit from a yard where she can run and investigate her surroundings. While daily walks are important, having access to a fenced outdoor space suits her energy level perfectly.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Mixed breed puppies like Dora are often great with older children, but because of her sharp puppy teeth and playful nipping, she'd do better in homes without very young children until she's trained.
