About Rosie
Rosie is a 4.5-month-old hound/lab mix with a real knack for winning people over. She snuggles like a champ and craves human company, but she's also happiest when she's out and about or playing with pups her own age. Rosie's favorite things include belly rubs, chasing after toys, and hanging out with neighborhood kids—she greets everyone with an eager tail and usually ends up flat on her back for some attention. She’s especially gentle and tuned in with children. Training comes naturally to Rosie. She already knows "sit," "no," her name, and walks nicely on a leash. She’s crate trained, loves treats, and learns quickly, especially when rewards are involved. While she’s mostly house-trained when her people are home, she can get nervous being left alone—so she’ll thrive in a family that’s around a lot and wants to include her in their daily routines. Rosie gets along well with other dogs, enjoys the company of cats, and is a natural with kids. She has a playful streak and is working on fetch (she’s definitely got the chase part down). If you want a companion who’s ready for adventure one minute and curled in your lap the next, Rosie may be just what you’re looking for. Home visits are required for adoption, and she’s currently fostered near Glen St Mary, FL. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
