About Luna
Luna and her brother Leo are a tightly bonded pair—these two need to be adopted together. They’ve been each other’s world since being rescued from beneath a trailer, scared and dirty in Grand Traverse County. Safe in foster care, both have turned a corner: they’re now healthy, lively, and affectionate siblings with a knack for mischief and play. You’ll often catch them racing around the house, sunbathing on the rug, wrestling like tiny prizefighters, or inventing new games with every toy. Luna’s favorite pastimes include chasing strings, feathers, and ball puzzles, refusing to let her brother have all the fun. Luna arrived frail and underweight, but now she eats well and sports shiny black fur. She and Leo share food bowls and scratchers, and she always uses her litter box. Luna is more reserved compared to Leo, preferring affection on her own schedule. She doesn’t love being held, but she rewards gentle attention with steady purring. With patience and reassurance, Luna continues to thrive—she’s smart and observant, at her best when able to adjust at her own pace. Sudden noises like vacuums still make her skittish, but she recovers quickly. These kittens are suited to active households and enjoy meeting new feline friends. If your home needs a playful, close-knit pair who have already proven adaptable and loving, Luna and Leo might be exactly who you’re looking for. Start your journey together! Apply now.
