About Tom

Meet Tom. This big, lovable cat craves human company and isn’t shy about asking for attention—he’ll meow, roll over for belly rubs, and make himself at home in no time. When he arrived, Tom was fearful and a bit shy, but he’s turned into a real people enthusiast. True to form for a previously unneutered male, he’s got a broad head and thick neck that add to his charming, tough-guy looks. He isn’t interested in wet food, but is enthusiastic about his kibble and his favorite people. Tom lived previously with children, cats, and dogs, and adjusted well. After being neutered, his old marking behavior disappeared, and he’s been remarkably well-mannered since. Tom is FIV positive due to an incident in his past, but this shouldn’t be a source of worry—he can live a normal, happy life with good care and is safe to be around other non-aggressive cats, as well as people and dogs. He’ll fit well in many kinds of homes, and he’s ready to bring lots of love to whoever welcomes him in. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
