About Laundromat
Meet Laundromat, a black and white tuxedo cat with attitude to spare. She’s equal parts sass and charm, running on spirit and a few squeaky requests. After a tough stretch surviving outdoors near a DC apartment complex—where she suffered a severely broken leg and went through three major surgeries, eventually losing the limb—Laundromat carries herself like nothing can stop her. Even as a tripod, she zips around, climbs, and jumps without hesitation, soaking up the indoor life she long deserved. Now that her days of fending for herself are over, she’s an expert lap cat who greets everyone with head bops and insists that every lap exists for her convenience. Laundry’s playful, opinionated, and clearly prefers adults or older kids—she isn’t interested in the chaos of young children, and she'd flourish as the only cat or with only very mellow feline companions. Beyond the flash, there’s a sincere sweetness; she loves pets and the company of humans. Most who meet her wish they could take her home. Ready to meet this one-of-a-kind survivor?
