About Xyra
Xyra is a tiny black and white Domestic Short Hair kitten, about 10 weeks old and weighing just 2 pounds. She is still in her playful, high-energy phase and will need a home that can provide the level of attention and supervision young kittens require. Raising a kitten like Xyra means lots of hands-on time for training, socialization, and play—especially if your household has older children, as kittens younger than four months can be a bit more rambunctious and nippy during playtime. If you’ll be away from home frequently or have younger kids, you may want to consider an older kitten. Rancho Coastal suggests adopting kittens in pairs, both for companionship and to keep them entertained (and out of mischief). With their Two Purr One Program, your second kitten’s fee is waived if you take home a pair. Xyra is not yet house trained, and she’ll need patient adopters to help her learn the ropes. Kittens this age benefit from a buddy, so keep that in mind if you decide Xyra is the one. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
