About Sierra
Sierra is a 7-year-old Pomsky with a snow-white coat and striking blue eyes whose confidence commands attention—she struts through the shelter as if she owns the place. Tipping the scales at about 35 pounds of pure fluff, Sierra has the poise of a show dog but maintains a down-to-earth disposition. Her history before arriving at the shelter is unclear after being abandoned, though her gentle and polished demeanor shows she’s handled hardship with real grace. Sierra keeps her kennel spotless and navigates the daily noise and chaos of the shelter without stress. Moderate energy defines her—she enjoys a good walk and taking in the world, then melts into her bed for long, restful cuddles. That lush coat will benefit from regular grooming to keep it healthy and tangle-free. Sierra wants no more than a steady supply of affection and security in a home where she can finally unwind. She’s been easygoing around other dogs in the shelter, and while her response to dogs and children in a home is unknown, she absolutely needs a home with no cats. Sierra is available through the foster-to-adopt program while she completes routine vetting, including spay, vaccines, and microchip. If you’re looking for a loyal, house-trained sidekick who’s happy to combine a daily stroll with a lot of cozy downtime, Sierra is ready for her chance at a happy ending. What are you waiting for? How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Pomsky mixes like Sierra benefit from daily walks and playtime, but they don’t require a large yard. Regular access to outdoor space for exercise suffices as long as she gets out for walks.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pomsky/mixed breeds are often gentle and affectionate, but Sierra’s preferences with children are currently unknown. She’s been calm around dogs at the shelter, so careful introductions are advised if there are children in the home.
