Sunshine
AvailableSunshine is a young, medium-sized Australian Shepherd/mixed breed with a golden coat, currently in Kittanning, PA. He’s 1 year and 1 month old and neutered. His vaccinations are up to date. Sunshine is partially house trained and thrives on routine. He needs a home with adults who can provide patience and understanding after his early experiences. As a Taurus, he’s likely to have a loyal, steady personality.
About Sunshine
Sunshine is looking for an adult-only home where structure and routine are the norm. He’s partially housebroken, and if you get him on a set potty schedule, he settles in well. This boy needs someone familiar with dog behavior—he’s got that clever, independent streak that can leave you in the dust if a door or leash is left unchecked. Outside, he must be leashed or given access to a securely fenced yard. Sunshine can be dog selective, so a meet-and-greet is a must if you’ve got another dog. He often needs time to warm up to new canine friends and can be wary at first, but he is currently living with several dogs in his foster home. Sunshine came from a rough situation and the scars linger, so he needs a patient, compassionate adopter who understands that trust takes time. Ready to make it official, apply to adopt!
