About Louise

Louise is a striking, buff and tan domestic long hair who came to the shelter with her sister, Thelma, after losing the only home they had known for nearly eight years. Both arrived scared, withdrawn, and unsure—Louise would hide, hiss, and keep her distance at first. With patience and steady reassurance, she’s been coming out of her shell. Louise is quick to learn when the world is safe again; now, she reliably seeks attention and truly seems to love affection. Once comfortable, Louise is calm, sweet, and gentle, gradually showing her trusting nature bit by bit. It's still an open question if she and Thelma need to stay together; they’re comfortable in each other’s company but don’t appear tightly bonded. If you have space and a gentle heart for both, these two would welcome a soft landing after so much upheaval, but they could also flourish individually. Louise is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and would do well in a home with other cats. Click apply to start the adoption process.
