About Kahlo
Kahlo spent 116 days in a shelter, waiting for someone to see her worth. It's hard to believe she was overlooked when she’s so special. At first, Kahlo is a bit shy and slow to trust, but she warms up with just a little patience. Once she feels comfortable, her gentle, sweet side comes out and she starts to show her real personality. Kahlo absolutely blossoms around other dogs. Whether it's her favorite buddy Marcellus or another canine friend, she comes alive with a wagging tail and a brighter spirit. For Kahlo, having another dog around isn’t optional — it’s what helps her feel safe and confident in the world. She’d do best in a home where there’s at least one friendly resident dog to show her the ropes. At nine months old and 39 pounds, Kahlo is still learning that life has more to offer — toys, treats, kindness, and people who care. She doesn’t need perfection, just someone willing to give her the chance she deserves after being passed by for so long. Kahlo is ready to start her new chapter. Could you be the one to show her what a loving home feels like? Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
