About Pixie
Pixie is a young wire-haired Terrier mix with a gentle spirit shaped by her early life on the streets. She’s learning to trust, and each day she grows a bit bolder as she discovers the comforts and joys of home life. Pixie starts out cautious around new faces and situations but warms up as she gains confidence, gradually revealing her affectionate and loving nature. She keeps a watchful eye on her environment and is quick to bark at unfamiliar sounds, so she’s better suited to a home with its own yard rather than an apartment. Pixie thrives in the company of other dogs and would love to have another canine in the house to help show her the ropes. She’s also gentle with children and enjoys being around people. When comfortable, she’s eager for affection and companionship. Car rides are still something she’s working on, and she tends to drool, but with patience she’s making progress. Her foster home is in Guanajuato, Mexico, and she’ll make her way to the U.S. to join her new family. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion ready for her next chapter, Pixie could be just the friend you need. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
