About Percy
Percy is a large, soft-hearted senior cat searching for a place to call home after his person moved out of the country. When first arriving in a new space, Percy prefers to keep to himself and quietly observe his surroundings; given a few days, though, he reveals his affectionate, easygoing nature. He’s a striking American Shorthair with soft white fur, a patch of black above one eye, and a black band circling his tail. His emerald eyes are just as expressive as his personality once he learns you’re trustworthy. Percy thrives as a lap cat and loves nothing more than sharing quiet evenings. He’s happiest when curled up close, soaking up attention. He gets along with other cats and can live either solo or with feline friends. Since he's a big guy who really enjoys mealtime, Percy requires meal feeding of wet food—separate from other cats if needed—to support his health and keep things fair. He’s looking for a peaceful, loving home where someone will help him stick to his routine and enjoy the bond of a devoted companion. Percy is an indoor-only cat. Born under the sign of Cancer, he has all the loyalty and snuggly tendencies of his astrological sign. Start your journey together! Apply now.
