About Donnie
Meet Donnie, a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who came to us with his sister Marie from a rural shelter. These two pups double up on the cute factor and always seem to find a way to make you smile. Donnie is food motivated and eager to please—he’s figured out already that treats mean good things. He enjoys playing with other dogs and carries that playful, affectionate energy everywhere he goes. He’s truly soaking up puppyhood in foster care, learning what toys are all about and finding out how much fun life can be. Donnie still needs training and socialization, just like any young pup. Right now, skills may be a work in progress, but he’s ready to grow into a loyal companion for someone willing to put in the time. Donnie loves other dogs and gets along with children, making him a great candidate for a variety of homes. With patience and consistency, his playful spark will develop into lifelong good habits.
