Hiba is a female, medium-sized Canaan Dog mix with a medium apricot and beige coat. She is 2 years and 7 months old and currently lives in Somerset, NJ. Hiba is spayed, fully vaccinated, and has special needs due to her previous injuries. While not yet house trained, she is eager to learn and very resilient.

About Hiba The Special

Hiba means "gift," and she truly is one. After being struck by a car in Amman, Jordan, Hiba fought through pain and trauma, arriving at the clinic scared and injured. Her head femur had shattered, and both her legs were broken—she urgently needed surgery. Only one leg could be saved, but she pulled through and has been thriving since. Hiba is a sweet, apricot-toned medium-sized girl with a medium coat. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and navigating life on three legs without fuss. Though a bit wary of strangers at first, she bonds closely once trust is built and will be your devoted friend. She still needs some training, but she’s sharp, eager, and quick to pick up new things. Hiba gets along with both dogs and cats and hopes to find a loving family willing to root for her just as she’s learned to root for herself. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
