About Hunter
Hunter is a striking black and tan Husky-Pomeranian mix looking for his forever home. At just 6 months old, he’s energetic, smart, and loves to explore, though he still finds plenty of time for mischief. Hunter tends to be shy and nervous initially, especially around people who move quickly or make a lot of noise, but he thrives with patience and gentle consistency. Teens or adults who give him space and time will help him become the companion he’s meant to be. He’s lived with other small dogs and cats, though larger dogs tend to intimidate him—he does best with those his size or smaller. Because he missed out on early potty training, he’ll need a little extra understanding at first, but he learns quickly and will catch on with the right guidance. Hunter may need longer than average to adjust, but he has a lot of love and curiosity ready for the right home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Hunter
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
With Hunter's energetic nature, he benefits from frequent outdoor playtime in a secure yard or with regular walks, but he doesn't require a huge yard as long as he gets daily exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Hunter is most comfortable around teens and adults because he needs a calm environment and time to settle. Homes with young children might overwhelm him at this stage.
