About Smartie Chapman

Smartie Chapman is a bright spot in her foster home—a grey and white kitten with a curious streak and a giant purr. Born on March 17 (she’s a Pisces, so expect plenty of affection), her playful spirit shines whether she’s tumbling through a basket of toys or curling up in your lap for snuggles. You’ll find her at the center of activity most days, happy to be part of the fun and happiest when people or kids are nearby. She’s especially social and is known for befriending children quickly. When Smartie gets into mischief—like emptying the toy basket one plush at a time—she turns on the charm with her sweet face and constant purring. She’d thrive in a home with another kitten or playful cat and would love to be adopted with one of her siblings. Her vaccinations are current and she’ll be microchipped before heading home. She will need to be spayed when old enough. Local adopters only (Northern VA / DC / MD). No student adoptions. Kittens under 6 months must join a home with another active cat of similar age, or be adopted with a littermate or another kitten. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
