About Tweety

Tweety came to the shelter in January and was adopted out quickly—she makes an impression the moment you see her. When her adopters brought her home, they already had another cat, and despite their best efforts over several months, Tweety simply didn’t warm up to the idea of having another feline in her space. She’s once again back at the shelter, and it’s clear that she’s best as the only cat. Unless there’s significant space to keep cats apart, a no-cat home will likely make everyone happier. Tweety is an impressive, large, and very fluffy girl weighing in at 12 pounds. Her thick black and white tuxedo coat is stunning, but it does mean more upkeep—you’ll need to stay on top of regular brushing and grooming. If you haven’t cared for a medium to long-haired cat before, do your homework before deciding. Tweety’s loving personality and strong presence make her special, and she is ready for a home where she can soak up all the attention. Fun fact: Born on January 31, Tweety is an Aquarius, which fits her independent streak. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
