About Mayhem
Get ready for Mayhem—literally and figuratively. She’s the bold, fearless ringleader of the “Here Comes Trouble” pack heading to New England from Mississippi. Mayhem’s zest for climbing and daredevil leaps knows no bounds, and her energy is outmatched only by her determination to find new toys in anything she sees. Even as a tiny kitten, she stood out for her mix of wild playfulness and careful tenderness with the runtier or unwell kittens. She’ll go as hard wrestling with her siblings as she will comforting them. After the antics and zoomies, Mayhem settles next to you for gentle pets and soft purrs, often drifting to sleep with a satisfied sigh. Oh, and don’t miss her adorable little stump tail—it’s her signature move. Mayhem must be adopted with a sibling or into a home where a friendly, playful cat already lives and is looking for a companion. Kittens this young need other feline friends—there are no exceptions. If you’re looking for a solo cat, consider one of the older kittens or teens; they make great single companions. She’ll arrive up-to-date on vaccines, but keep in mind kittens need more vet visits in their first year. Volunteers keep everything running, so please only apply if you’re truly ready to commit.
