About Penny

Penny is a 5-month-old Doberman Pinscher with a small, sturdy build and a heart full of enthusiasm. She was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, sometimes known as swimming puppy syndrome, which means she needs a little extra help getting around — but don't let that fool you. Penny is feisty, hilarious, and determined. She does well on grass and uses yoga mats indoors for safer mobility. She can't take traditional walks, but she's rolled right into wheelchair outings like a pro. She needs a home that can provide soft surfaces, help with car rides and stairs, and has patience for her evolving coordination. Most days, she’s happy to snuggle up, wag her tail non-stop, and make friends out of everyone she meets. Penny is gentle with kids, loves other dogs, and gets along with cats too. She’s crate trained and reliably potty trained with a solid routine. Expect a lot of affection and cuddles — she’s all in for family life. Penny is seeking her special person or family, and fostering to adopt is welcome. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
