About Rainey
Meet Dolly "Rainey," a 1-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd and a true gem waiting for her forever home. Rainey weighs about 21 pounds and brings just the right mix of playful energy and loyal affection. She enjoys romping with dog pals, exploring every corner, and then curling up for quality cuddle time with her people. Once she trusts you, Rainey transforms into your devoted shadow—always nearby, always ready for adventure or a nap by your side. Rainey comes crate and potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, enjoys car rides, and fits right into homes with kids or other dogs. Her gentle, friendly nature makes her an easy fit for most families. She picks up routines quickly and understands when it’s time to play or when a little quiet is called for. A note for her future family: Rainey has mild digestive sensitivity, so she just needs a little downtime after meals before diving back in to play. This doesn’t hold her back from living a full and happy life. She starts out a bit shy with new folks but warms up quickly with patience. Her sweet, steady temperament and manageable size make her a low-stress addition for most adopters. Rainey is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and receives regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She’s currently fostered in Houston, Texas, but approved adopters can arrange nationwide transport. Click apply to start the adoption process.
