About Ophelia

Ophelia is a lovely hound mix who was saved from a North Carolina shelter just in time, and she’s turned out to be a real gem. Gentle and affectionate, she gets along well with everyone—humans and other dogs alike. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and currently living happily with a much larger foster dog, a 13-year-old Great Pyrenees who has become her best friend. At about seven years old, Ophelia is fully vaccinated, in great shape, and scheduled to be spayed soon. Her easygoing nature makes her a great fit for almost any family, and she still brings a lively, playful spirit wherever she goes. Weighing in around 48 pounds, she’s big enough to enjoy adventures but not overwhelming. She loves walks and car rides, and she especially enjoys hanging out with her people. If you want a loyal, loving companion, Ophelia could be your match. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
