About Cheeto
Cheeto is a joyful little ball of fluff, part of a litter brought in thanks to a partnership with Double J Dog Ranch. He is a Miniature American Shepherd, so even though he’s small, he carries the energy and friendliness the breed is known for. In his foster home, Cheeto practices crate time, potty habits, and the basics of good puppy socialization. He’s especially playful with his fellow foster pups and has shown he can get along well with children. Cheeto does have a pronounced overbite, and he’ll need a sponsored dental recheck when he’s between 8 and 12 months, with coverage of any dental work he may require. He’s current on all medical care for his age and is hitting his development marks. His caretakers are seeking adopters who see their dog as family, committed to training and truly including this little guy in all parts of daily life. Cheeto is expected to mature between 20 and 35 lbs and should settle happily into any household—whether it’s an adventure day outdoors or quiet time on the couch, he’s just as content to relax or join in on activities like agility and barn hunt. He arrives neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. The adoption fee is sponsored, and Cheeto comes with a leash, collar, ID tag, his records, a food sample, and a mandatory free training session with a partner trainer to start things off right.
