Drako is a young neutered male, a large mix of Shepherd and Labrador Retriever, with a long black coat and is house trained. Vaccinations are current, and he’s currently recovering from a leg injury but is otherwise up to date medically. Drako is being cared for in Seville, OH and is looking for a foster-to-adopt home while he heals.

About Drako

Drako landed in the shelter after suffering a broken leg—his owners couldn’t afford the surgery, but thanks to being young, he started healing on his own. The vet expects a full recovery within a month and thinks he won’t need an operation. Right now, Drako needs a foster-to-adopt home while he finishes healing. All it takes is completing foster paperwork, and he’ll rest with you until his follow-up appointment. Once the leg is cleared, you can make the adoption official. Drako has to stay extra calm and confined to a single room or crate, which isn’t easy for such an energetic, loving dog. He’ll have a much better time recovering at home than in a shelter environment. Drako is already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative; everything’s covered in his adoption fee. If you’re interested, you’ll need to stop by the shelter for a meet and greet during open hours. Your new best friend is just one click away.
