About Lilac
Lilac is a 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd puppy with a gentle, affectionate nature. After being found alone in the brush in KCK, she started out timid but has quickly learned that people can be kind, thanks to dedicated foster care. Lilac will grow into a very large dog, but her personality is soft and mellow. She adores belly rubs, snuggling up with her humans, and is especially calm and sweet around young children—in her foster home, she’s done wonderfully with kids as young as 1.5 and 3. Supervised play is important while she learns her puppy manners, but her progress so far has been impressive. Meeting new dogs lights her up. Lilac gets along famously with canine friends, though she does need to be fed separately. She’s happy playing, walks gently on leash, sleeps nicely in her kennel, and settles in quietly when home alone in her crate. Potty training is coming along well. Lilac needs a family ready to nurture her confidence and guide her as she grows into the dog she’s meant to be. If you want a loyal, laid-back companion with a heart of gold, Lilac is waiting in Shawnee, KS. Click apply to start the adoption process.
