Cassie
AvailableCassie is a medium-sized, spayed female Mountain Cur mix with a beautiful bicolor coat and a gentle spirit. She is house-trained and up to date on all vaccinations. Cassie is currently living in Berea, KY, as she waits to meet her forever family.
About Cassie
Cassie’s story started in crowded, overwhelming conditions with dozens of other dogs and barely any real human contact. That life left her timid and unsure, but she’s begun building trust, learning the world has good people. In her recent foster home, Cassie impressed everyone—she was house-trained, peaceful, gentle, and unobtrusive. After a shake-up in her foster family and losing her dog companion, she faced a lot of changes at once, which made her retreat a bit. Consistency matters to her, and she relaxes best with a confident canine friend around. Other dogs help her understand that things are okay, so a home with another nurturing dog is a plus. Cassie’s picking up leash walking, adjusting slowly, and needs patience as she continues to open up. She’s quiet indoors, adapts well to calm, relaxed environments, and is house-trained. If you’re steady, gentle, and understanding, Cassie will show her loyal, deeply sweet side in time. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
