About Issac
Issac’s first days in rescue told a story—he arrived with sadness in his eyes, unsure about people and wary of trust. No one can say what he endured before being trapped and brought inside, but it was clear that comfort, kindness, and affection were foreign to him. For a while, Issac kept his distance, self-reliant and hesitant, as if waiting to see if love was real. But slowly, the walls came down. Issac learned to seek out attention, soak up gentle pets, and curl up into soft beds. Once cautious, he now welcomes affection from the people in his life and is discovering what it feels like to belong. He's still adjusting to an indoor routine, so patience and quiet persistence make all the difference with him. Every small victory—every head bump or soft purr—feels like proof he’s opening up. Issac’s a big, striking cat with a lot of heart. His progress has been remarkable, especially around other cats and dogs, who boost his confidence and help smooth his transition. He shares his foster home with both and gets along well, including with children. Issac is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and receives preventatives regularly. All he needs now is a family committed to helping him trade old worries for safety and love. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
