About Zoomie
Zoomie is a 1.5-year-old, black and white/cream English Pointer/Great Dane mix who’s got just the right amount of energy. Despite her name, she doesn’t spend her days racing around—though she’ll definitely show off her famous zoomies now and then. New faces and novel spaces can make her a bit wary at first, but give her a little time and you’ll discover a dog who’s both deeply affectionate and wonderfully silly. She loves a few high-speed laps, then settles in for a snooze and some serious quality time on the sofa. Right now, Zoomie is recovering from a CCL surgery and needs a calm, reassuring home to continue her healing and regain her confidence. She’s crate trained, knows her basic commands, and demonstrates good house manners thanks to her foster home experience. Zoomie would probably thrive with a friendly canine companion, though what she wants most is someone patient and loving. In exchange, expect a loyal friend who keeps you laughing—and isn’t shy about reminding you how she got her name. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Zoomie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Zoomie, as an English Pointer/Great Dane mix, generally does best in a home with enough space to move around, ideally one with access to a yard or regular outdoor walks. A calm environment will also help her confidence blossom as she continues to recover.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A large, securely fenced yard is ideal for Zoomie to run and enjoy her bursts of energy, but regular, moderate-length walks can also meet her needs. For now, her post-surgery recovery means calmer, controlled exercise is best.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
English Pointer and Great Dane mixes like Zoomie are often gentle and can do well in homes with respectful children, especially once comfortable in their surroundings. Supervision is key, especially during recovery and as she builds trust.
