About Brady
Teddy and Brady are a pair of 10-year-old neutered male Shih Tzu brothers who believe life is best lived together. These two landed at the shelter through no wrongdoing, and now they’re looking for a calm retirement home where they can keep up vital duties like investigating kitchen happenings, nabbing the best couch real estate, and providing comic relief. They are truly bonded—separating is out of the question at this point. Even as senior dogs, Teddy and Brady refuse to slow down. They’re still plenty curious and enjoy staying involved in whatever is going on in the house, especially if food’s in the mix. Both boys will have their teeth cleaned up before adoption, and Teddy is also managing some allergy care. As for their ideal setup, Teddy and Brady want to be the only pets in your household—they’ve spent a decade developing their brotherly routine and aren’t interested in new cast members. If you want twice the affection, twice the antics, and always have room for two tiny shadows by your side, Teddy and Brady are ready to meet you. Just know: privacy will become a thing of the past! Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Brady
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Brady, as a Shih Tzu, does well in apartments or homes, provided he gets daily time with his family. Shih Tzus are adaptable and comfortable in smaller spaces as long as they have companionship.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Brady, like most Shih Tzus, doesn't require a large yard. Short walks and indoor play keep him happy, so a small yard or regular outdoor time is sufficient.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Shih Tzus are usually gentle and patient, so Brady could be a good match for families with respectful children. That said, as a senior and part of a bonded pair, he's best in a quieter home.
