About Moose
Meet Moose! Moose is a 2-year-old Goldendoodle with a big personality and a soft spot for his people. Neutered, vaccinated, and healthy, Moose spent most of his life with one family. Due to lifestyle changes, he’s been crated for long hours, so now he craves a home where someone’s around more often. Moose is goofy, loving, and affectionate—he’ll gladly snuggle beside you while chewing his favorite Benebone. He’ll try for a spot in your bed, but happily stays on the floor if asked. Moose is house-trained, crate-trained, walks fairly well on a leash, and has mastered basic commands. He does best with other dogs who match his play style and energy, and he’s happy either as a solo companion or with the right dog friend. He doesn’t do well with cats and tends to pester them for attention, so a feline-free home is best. With food, Moose sometimes guards his bowl around dogs, but this is easily managed by separate feedings and hasn’t led to fights. Given his size, playfulness, and the occasional food guarding behavior, he’s better suited for families with older children who can respect boundaries. Moose can be anxious during vet visits and grooming, preferring calm home grooms over restraints. Like many doodles, he’s prone to the zoomies and can get mouthy during play, but he responds well to patient guidance. If you want a dog who makes coming home the best part of your day, Moose is ready. He’s looking for a stable, loving family who wants a faithful companion at their side.
