About May

May's story began with heartbreak—she and her kittens were abandoned in a box at the end of a remote road often crossed by coyotes. Luckily, someone found the family before anything worse happened, and now May is ready to start a new chapter. Petite and full of personality, May is both playful and deeply affectionate. She bakes some serious biscuits and is happiest curled next to her person, purring up a storm. Once she settles and feels safe, her expressive side blossoms; she's not shy about communicating what she wants. May is passionate about other cats and truly needs a friendly feline companion in her future home. She thrives on having another playful cat for company, and she'd be happiest with someone to romp and cuddle with. May would do best in a home with older children or adults, where she can adjust at her own pace. She's been around dogs but can be unsure, so a slow, gentle introduction is key if a canine will be part of her life. After a rough start, May’s ready for comfort and kindness. She is spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you're looking for a sweet-natured, cuddly cat with tons of character, May is made for you.
