About Kodiak And Steele
Kodiak and Steele are two of the most charming German Shepherd mix puppies you’ll meet, each with a look all their own. Both boys are around 9–10 weeks old and are part of a lively litter recently rescued from Virginia. Kodiak, the biggest of the group, is a lovable goof—with oversized paws and ears he hasn’t figured out how to manage yet. Steele sets himself apart with his tan coat and black muzzle; most days he’s mellow, but when the mood strikes, he tears around the yard with happy zoomies. Both are thriving in foster care, loving every minute with their human and dog friends. The whole batch has a blast playing outdoors, chewing toys, and trailing after the house cats like they’re part of the pack. Affection comes naturally to them and they’re quick to snuggle up, though typical puppy antics like nipping are to be expected at this age. They’re not yet housebroken or crate trained—adopters should be ready to invest time and patience into their puppy education. These pups are microchipped and current on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. If you’ve got room in your family (and yard) for big-hearted shepherd mixes, Kodiak and Steele are waiting to win you over—quirky ears included. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
