About Mason
Mason blends just the right amount of playful mischief with a real desire to please. His expressive face and big puppy eyes have a way of drawing you in, and itās not hard to find yourself stuck in one spot because heās drifted off to sleep in your lap. Mason is the kind of puppy who wants to be near youāand isnāt shy about snatching a snack or the occasional shoe if you arenāt paying attention. Raised around children (ages 4 and 7), heās done well with them, especially when introductions and interactions are kept calm and unhurried. He loves the company of dogs, both his littermates and the older resident pups in his foster home, showing respect and playfulness to everyone. Nighttime finds Mason sharing a crate with his sisters, sleeping anywhere from 10 pm until 6 am, with just the rare late-night accident. He has medium energy, is on the smaller side compared to his siblings, and is bound to be medium to large when grown. Though labeled as a shepherd/lab mix, heās really a Texas specialāa bit of a guessing game but a great companion all the same. Thereās no couch or chair Mason isnāt ready to claim for a nap, always close by and quick to cuddle. He will do best in a household ready to commit to puppy training, socialization, and plenty of play. If youāre ready for a loving shadow and certified master cuddler, Masonās ready for you.
