About Rudy

Rudy is a determined, 1-year-old mixed Boston Terrier with a black and tan coat and a lot of heart. Found alone as a puppy near a school in Puerto Rico, Rudy has overcome a tough start to become a loyal, deeply affectionate dog who forms strong attachments with his person. These bonds run deep—he loves being close, enjoys cuddling, and genuinely lights up when he feels safe and secure. He thrives in calm, predictable settings and needs to be the only pet in an adult-only home—Rudy does not get along well with cats or children and prefers no canine competition. Rudy’s ideal adopter is patient and consistent, willing to help him keep building confidence. Once he settles in, his sweet, loving nature comes out fully, and he is happiest when he knows exactly who his people are. Rudy is house trained but, like any dog, will need patience and routine when adjusting to a new schedule or environment. Now fostered in Baldwin, MD, Rudy is ready for a forever home where he is truly understood and never overlooked. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
