About Rhody Isle
Some cats wear their past like a badge, but Rhody Isle keeps her secrets quietly. She’s a striking 7-year-old black and white lady who came to us after a shelter surrender, and while nobody can say how she lost her leg, Rhody makes it perfectly clear she’s not defined by what she’s missing. Confident and curious, she has no trouble getting around—stairs, exploring, and daily cat business are all on her agenda. Rhody’s foster calls her sweet and fearless, but always gentle. Making friends comes naturally to her, and she’d much rather connect than argue. Her favorite things are low-key: a soft bed, a person to love, and plenty of head scratches. She lets you know—often, and not so subtly—when it’s time for those head scratches, her way of reminding you she’s there and wants company. Rhody gets along well with other cats and dogs, and she’d thrive as a companion in a home looking for a calm, affectionate, and resilient presence. She’s indoor-only, can’t be declawed, and her adopter must be at least 21. Now all this tripod is missing is a family who will give her love, pampering, and, of course, an endless supply of head scratches. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
